New Marketing Coordinator Joins the Team
We're excited to welcome Nancy Figiel to the Brice Pointe team as our new Marketing Coordinator!
Nancy moved to New Bern six years ago from Kill Devil Hills on the northern Outer Banks to serve as Director of Public Affairs at Tryon Palace. Since then, she's fallen in love with the New Bern community and the sense of belonging she's found here.
"I love that I can explore history and nature, enjoy music, dining, and shopping, and always find something to do or see, all in one charming place," Nancy said.
At our recent Priority List member event, Nancy reflected that she'd always said she would never leave the beach, but New Bern changed her mind. What drew her in was the strong sense of community she found here, something she believes makes the area such a special place to call home.
One thing that really stands out to her, she said, is New Bern's emphasis on arts and culture. The arts council is very active, there are two theaters, concerts in the park every summer and much more.
"If you want to get out and do something, you can — there's so much to do," she said.
When the opportunity arose to join the Brice Pointe team, Nancy knew she had to take it. She immediately connected with Brice Pointe's mission of providing older adults with a beautiful, worry-free home and the confidence that comes from having a full continuum of care available right on campus if needed.
As someone who values connection and community, Nancy sees many of the same qualities she loves about New Bern reflected in Brice Pointe. She is excited to help future residents and their families discover all that the community has to offer.
Nancy lives in New Bern with her daughter, Ana, who is studying to become a special education teacher at ECU, along with their standard poodle, Mr. Darcy, and diva kitty, Elsa.
We're thrilled to have Nancy on the Brice Pointe team and look forward to the creativity, enthusiasm, and local perspective she brings as we continue to introduce more people to the Brice Pointe lifestyle.
